How to Purchase Tickets for Tokyo Disneyland
Purchasing tickets for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea can be done through various methods, including the official website, travel agencies, or online travel platforms such as the popular Klook. Typically, buying tickets through online travel platforms may be more cost-effective than purchasing directly from the official website. It is recommended to prepare tickets in advance, especially if you are in Taiwan. Opting for a one-day passport with a specified date ensures entry, and all you need to do is show the purchased QR code for admission, making the process very convenient.
Ticket prices for Tokyo Disneyland vary based on the season, and you can check prices and operating hours for up to 2 to 3 months in advance. It’s advisable to check the desired play date before making a ticket purchase.
Tokyo Disney – Disney Resort APP
Before heading to Disney, make sure to install and register the Disney Resort app. Downloading it on-site might be frustrating due to slow internet speeds. Once in the park, scan the QR code from your electronic ticket on the app to activate its features. You can easily check waiting times for each attraction and the schedule for parades.
If you’re visiting with family or friends, consider using the app’s group feature. Designate one person to purchase the Disney Premium Annual Passport (DPA) and distribute it to others. This way, everyone doesn’t have to go through the purchasing process individually, saving unnecessary time during the buying process.
Disney Premium Annual Passport(DPA)
DPA (Disney Premium Annual Passport) functions like a fast pass or express pass, offering a convenient way to skip queues for attractions. Priced at 1500 to 2500 yen per person, it provides a designated time slot during which you can directly enter the attractions without waiting in line. There is a daily limit on the number of available DPAs, so it’s recommended to purchase one as soon as you enter the park.
It’s important to note that not all attractions accept DPA, and you can check the official link below to see which attractions currently offer this service. DPAs can only be purchased through the official app, and entry is granted by scanning the QR code at the entrance of the respective facility.
Since the purchase is made through the app, be cautious if changing SIM cards, as it may affect receiving SMS verification codes. If using international roaming for internet access, it’s advisable to have a partner with a functioning network make the purchase. Additionally, check if your credit card is accepted, as using a JCB credit card may increase the likelihood of a successful transaction.

Space Mountain
Space Mountain is one of the three most thrilling “mountain” attractions in Tokyo Disneyland. It is Disney’s famous indoor roller coaster ride.
